Reach: The hidden musical instrument in the subway

Episode Summary

Somewhat hidden in the Harold Square subway stop is a magical piece of musical interactive art. This podcast will tell the story of the urban musical instrument that is “Reach” and how it came to be. We also track down the artist, Christopher Janney, and ask questions about the evolution of this piece and other cities that the piece was displayed in. Janney also goes on to explain his other work and even his experience with synesthesia and how that helps his work.
